Cet été, j’ai eu le plaisir de passer quelques jours à Barcelone en amoureux… Tout ne s’est pas vraiment passé comme nous le souhaitions, mais nous avons néanmoins essayé de profiter de ce petit voyage loin du quotidien. En dégustant de bonnes choses, par exemple ! 🙂
J’ai l’immense chance d’avoir un mari qui – bien que non-végétarien – est toujours enthousiaste pour mes expérimentations culinaires, toujours prêt à tout goûter, de la mousse au chocolat au jus de pois-chiche à la pâte à pizza à base de chou-fleur ! Je l’ai donc trimballé dans tous les restaurants végétariens / vegan qui croisaient notre chemin. Son seul crédo ? Que ce soit bon ! Mission succeeded 🙂
Face à Santa Maria del Mar, nous avons brunché chez Vegetalia. Un cadre champêtre (les tournesols sont mes fleurs préférées !), une serveuse adorable… et plein de bonnes petites choses à picorer dans l’assiette, du hoummous à l’apfel strudel en passant par des fruits & légumes frais ou une tortilla tomate-mozarella. Le brunch est servi tous les jours, jusqu’à 15h si mes souvenirs sont exacts (16h, peut-être ?), et coûte une dizaine d’euros. Accompagné (en supplément) d’un jus de carotte – pour moi – ou de pêche – pour lui – ce brunch était un vrai plaisir !
Comme la carte contenait beaucoup (beaucoup !) de plats (végétariens & vegan) qui nous donnaient très envie, à prix relativement modique (8 à 10€ le plat principal, 2,90€ à 5,50€ les desserts), nous avons poussé le lendemain la porte d’un autre Vegetalia, sur une petite place idéale pour un soir où une fraicheur timide pointe le bout de son nez…

Très originale, avec ses carottes, courgettes, chou fleur et autres légumes que l’on n’a pas nécessairement l’habitude de mettre dans une pizza ! Pas très grande, mais très rassasiante, même pour les affamé(e)s comme moi. Je n’ai même pas pris de dessert ! Moi ! Ça veut tout dire ça… 🙂 [Bon, ok, j’ai un piqué dans le brownie d’Elouan mais chuuut…]

Chez La Llavor del Origens, nous avons testé le « menù vegetarià » (19,90€ par personne, pour 2 minimum), afin de découvrir la cuisine catalane… Je vous invite à parcourir le menu sur le site du restaurant.
Là encore, nous ne sommes pas morts de faim ! Tout était bon, mais pas forcément évident à partager… Je n’ai pas pris de photos (il y avait de quoi pourtant !), mais j’avais déjà mangé dans ce restaurant une fois précédente, où j’avais goûté la coca aux épinards et au fromage de chèvre (photo), avec une salade aux fruits secs, à la pâte de coing et au chèvre frais (un délice que je me suis empressée de refaire chez moi !).
Et je suis carrément fan de leur lustre… 🙂

Enfin, notre dernière trouvaille coup de cœur, quasi intégralement vegan, et sans gluten, avec une vitrine de jus frais absolument incroyable : Teresa’s Juicery !

Après être passés un certain nombre de fois devant sans craquer… nous y sommes finalement entrés diner ! On ne va pas se mentir, les jus sont très chers (6€95 la bouteille), mais le choix est immense, et on a envie de tout goûter ! Elouan a craqué pour le Antiox (la bouteille était tellement jolie qu’il a à peine osé la boire !), moi pour le Green Medicine et le Vegan Vampire (j’ai adoré le nom, j’avoue !). Je vous invite à visiter le site du restaurant pour voir de plus jolies photos que je ne pourrai vous en proposer 🙂
Nous y avons mangé des burgers – veggie pour moi, saumon pour Elouan – accompagnés de carottes au four. Mioum !
Pour le dessert, je n’ai bien évidemment pas eu d’autre choix que de tester leur rainbow cake 100% naturel… 🙂 Elouan, un gâteau au chocolat de 2 textures différentes. Seul petit « reproche » (qui n’en est pas vraiment un, c’est juste une question de goût), les gâteaux étant sans gluten, ils étaient réalisés pour partie avec de la farine de sarrasin, qui a un goût relativement fort qui vient parfois masquer le reste. Le gâteau au chocolat était très bon (évidemment, j’ai goûté…), le rainbow cake avait essentiellement goût de sarrasin.
Oserais-je avouer que nous y sommes retournés le lendemain ? 🙂
Cette fois, j’ai accompagné mon plat, une belle tartine au potiron et au mascarpone végétal, de chips de kale (que j’ai beaucoup aimé et qui m’ont inspiré ceux-ci !).
